Steadicam is a multifaceted, environmentally-aware medium that can go anywhere. With many axis points to play with, Steadicam provides freedom of movement, allowing for rotational and spatial considerations that can’t be achieved otherwise.
With Steadicam, I can feel the energy of a scene and adjust momentum so the viewer feels like a participant, not an observer. Pacing and movement become seamless with the right equipment, effectively hiding the motion of the camera.
